I just installed a DVD burner in my Dell Dimension 4600, running WindowsXP
Home, 1.5Gig memory, 160Gig hard drive, 2.8Ghz Pentium IV HP. I cannot get
ntbackup to let me select my DVD drive for backup destination. Is this by
design, or am I missing some setting? Thanks in advance for any help.

Thanks, Ted, I am getting that "parting" feeling coming on, so looks like
it's time to warm up the plastic and secure some backup software that likes
DVDs. Any suggestions?

You can still backup to CDs with NTBackup.

Just create a backup set of 650MB or less and backup to a file. After
the file is complete, copy the file to the CDRW.
