NT Tape Backup Utility wont work

Justin

Can anybody help??
When I setup to run a scheduled backup using the NT backup
utility onto a DLT tape it wont run because it will not
copy over the data that was previously on the tape from
the night before. The error I get in the report log
is "The operation was not performed because there was no
unused media available".
Any ideas???
Thanks

Try

.... Start

Run
type
CMD
click OK

in the command prompt window type

NTBACKUP /?

a help file with useful switches will pop up .... You'll find easy to
configure a batch file for your backups using the switches etc.
