I have a pc working as a server (windows NT 4.0 workstation) and i have usernames and passwords in the server and the rest of computers with XP. When i start with XP , i can't access the shared folders from the server automatically, we have to give the username and password again. What do i have to do for not ask the username and password twice?

I've run into a similar problem. I found out that it was because the Userid
and Passwords were not the same. On the NT it was a mix of caps and lower
case for the userid. On the XP machine it was lower case. I ended up
having to delete the NT account and recreate it as all lower case, since
doing that on the XP machine didn't work. So make sure your userid and
passwords are identical on both machines.
