NT message

I can't find a group for NT4. On an nt4 ws, I get a message app log full. Is
this critical? What is it? How do I empty it? No applog in help, my nt book,
google. Thanks and sorry for posting to this group.

Look for event viewer in help. In XP as standard the log doesn't fill up but you can set options that prevent it from losing old entries, and then it has to be manually emptied from time to time. I presume you mean Application Log.

Start > Programs > Administrative Tools - Common > Event Viewer.
Open the pertinent log and clear it.

I did clear the event viewer. Are you saying that there is a subset of that
which is applog?
