Nt machine doesnt show up in entire network

Hi,
I have a small network with a Win2k Server running AD.
A couple of Win 2k clients and an NT 4 Server (set up as a stand-alone) for
SQL 7 applications. My W2k machines all show up in the 'entire network'. but
the NT4 machine doesn't. If I 'search for computers' my w2k machines find
the NT server and I can access the shares, it just doesn't show up in
'entire network' when browsing. I find it kind of irritating, especially
since the W2K machines all show up in network neighborhood on the NT Server.
I come up with nothing on the kb.
Any ideas?

Thanks,
Mark

Got WINS installed on the server? NT4 will need that. Also options 044 and
046 (0x8) in DHCP-server, Scope options.
Is File and printersharing installed on the NT4? Is Netbios over TCP/IP
enabled?

WINS is installed : Primary WINS Server is my W2K Domain Controller.
A Staic IP is assigned to the NT Server (not using DHCP)
File and print sharing is enabled. (as I said, I can access using ' find
computer'.)
NetBios over TCP/IP is enabled.
Still not in 'entire network' when browsing from 'my network places' on the
Win2k machines, but the Win2k machines show up when browsing from the NT
Server.

Do you see NT machine in its own Neighborhood? Stop and disable
ComputerBrowser service on NT.

Yes it did. I figured it out. It was a fresh install, and I missed the
subnet mask being set to 255.255.0.0 by default on the NT Server, instead of
255.255.255.0 like the rest of the network. This allowed the nt machine to
see the rest of the network, but not vice-versa. Sorry for taking up your
time.
But thanks for the help, if I hadn't been checking all the things suggested,
I wouldn't have caught it.
