Been spending time on the MS boards and sites, still trying to come up with the best migragtion/upgrade strategy for my current NT 4 domain. I wish to replace it with AD 2003 (as well as my Exchange 5.5 to 2003)
Should I upgrade the NT 4 PDC (keep a BDC off line) to 2003 and go for the AD wizard - or should I setup a separate, new AD 2003, trust it and migrate over
Its a large install base - 2,000 PC's, 100 servers (mixed of NT 4 SP6a, 2000 and 2003), 20+ BDC's, etc
I don't want to impact production - lots of IIS, SQL and Exchange users
Really just trying to find a starting point and strategy - any help would be greatly appreciated.
