NSIS Error

Whenever I try to open up Internet Explorer after I have
connected to the internet (via dial-up) the program opens
up then I will receive a prompt that says "NSIS Error:
this program is corrupted or may contain a virus." Or
something to that affect. The program then closes. I
have re-installed the program and the problem still
exists. I do not have this problem if I open IE before I
connect to the internet. I was wondering if anyone has a
solution to this problem. Any suggestions would be
appreciated, thanks.
