NSIS Error

First off, I'm running Windows 2000 Pro (service pack 4), but I posted
this to the Windows 2000 group and didn't get a solution, so I figured
I would try here.

For some reason I'm getting an NSIS error every time I CLOSE Internet
Explorer. Doesn't happen when I close Firefox, or any other program,
only when I CLOSE IE.

It reads

"NSIS error"

"The installer you are trying to use is corrupted or incomplete.
This could be the result of a damaged disk, a failed download or a
virus.
You may want to contact the author of this installer to obtain a new
copy.
It may be possible to skip this check using the /NCRC command line
switch (NOT RECOMMENDED)."

I have no virus, I see no reason why my disk would be damaged, but I
did
have a failed download from the following link (below) that seems to be

when I started getting the error message. I Googled, and Googled, and
Googled trying to find a way to get rid of the error message and I
can't find a solution.

I tried to download this link
http://www.ik-cs.com/programs/virtools/Multi_AV.exe from the following
page http://www.claymania.com/removal-trojan-adware.html

I ran several virus scans in both safe and normal modes, tried to
download the
link again and it failed, again. I even tried "Start - Run - SFC
/SCANNOW" which is supposed to make sure that all Windows files are
"intact". I couldn't get that to work because every 30 seconds it will
stop and tell me to install my Windows 2000 Pro disc in order to work
properly. Something about having to copy files to the DLL cache. Well,
I don't have a disc for Windows 2000. Not that it would solve my
problem anyway.

I've done everything here
http://nsis.sourceforge.net/Why_do_I_get_NSIS_Error and I still have
the problem.

Help, please.

Sorry, I didn't realize that there was already a thread with the SAME
header and my post would attach itself to it. LOL
