nsis error

I am running windows vista Home Premium 32-bit. Have only had the computer
about a week. Trying to put yahoo messenger on it. I keep gettin (The
Installer your are tying to use is corrupted or incomplete. This could be the
result of a damaged disc, a failed download or a virus.) no virus found. no
matter what setting I use this keeps popping up. Tried the download for vista
and still didn't work.

You have to install it from the original zip file, not an exec old copy if
this is the case. I know nothing about yahoo messenger. It is a wild
speculation on my part, simply put.

All software for Vista must be installed from original DVDs or zip files
which should be Vista compatible. That assurance somehow must be given by
the maker.
