Well, since Vista has gone RTM 6.0.600 or so most site are screaming, what
happens to us? Will we get any updates other than defender ie. drivers,
fixes, etc.? Heh will any drivers from manufacturers even install when they
release them in the coming weeks/months? Ah, me poor beta is already feeling
like a 'red headed stepchild".

Maybe testing of Windows MESA may appear on a horizon soon?

I'd guess at about 6 months after Vista hits the high streets (I hope it
isn't 6 years :( )

Hi Peter,

When a product goes RTM, support for the preview versions ceases. Actually,
if you read the download page, prerelease versions are not really supported
at all, you're just being allowed to play with it at your own risk. Drivers
will be designed for the release version, and may or may not work in beta
builds.

Vista was my first OS Beta experience. I learned a lot and had fun doing it.
Thanks to all in this group for helping.

I intend to - in Betaville, anything is possible ;-)

I'd still hang around to see what may happen next :)
