Now Missing the Volume level bar graft at bottom of desktop

Does anyone no how to turn back on the volume adjustment level bargraft that
use to appear at the bottom of the desktop whenever I adjusted the volume
with the voume toggle buttons at the top of the keyboard on my HP Pavilion
zd8230 with XP Media Center? I can still adjust volume with the toggle
buttons and via the volume controls on the toolbars and icons and so on, but
it was just nice to be able to see the volume bargaft level, much like a lot
of TV's have a volume bargraft appear when adjusting volume. the feature
definitely appears to be in the SP1 or SP2 or Plus patches, which come with
Media Center, but where is it? Just prior to the bargraft disappearing, I
simply performed a backup and cleaned out junk files. I do not think I
dumped a file for the bargraft. It is not real important, but I thought
someone might know what happened and how to fix it.

Hi,

That function resided with the keyboard driver controls, you might try
reinstalling and/or updating the existing one.
