I HAVE SEVERAL MP3 FILES I'D LIKE TO BURN AS WAV FILES TO
LISTEN IN MY CAR. IM SURE THERES A SIMPLE ANSWER FOR
THIS. HOW DO I DO IT

First, try asking in a Audio or at least the Media Player newsgroup.

What makes you think that Active Directory is somehow going to help you
make CDs for your automobile?

Second, most auto cd players cannot play MP3 or WAV files but rather the
new CD must be encoded using the CD audio format which all good burning
software supports. (This may not be a limitation of ALL auto players and
there
are certainly a few home cd players that now handle computer-date formats
but
it is likely the case with an built-in player unless you specifically
purchased one
with this new feature.)

Essentially, it takes a "computer" to decode the wav or MP3 formats and this
wasn't a feature of ANY cd players except those on "real" computers until
recently.
