Hello all im looking to purchase the Nero X2 4400 Dual Core from Novatech, not much of an IT techy but have the money and need to upgrade from a Packard Bell platinum Intel Pentium III 600 as its a dog.

http://www.novatech.co.uk/novatech/pcrange.html?NX2

Am I doing the right thing or can anyone recommend anything better between £1000 - £1300, don't need a monitor just the base unit (Does novatech throw in a keyboard and mouse with ther systems?) cheers

If you don't want to build your own, seems Ok to me, but as ever I'd say building your own would cost you less and give you a better system.

I don't know whether Novatech supply mouse, keyboard and speakers with those systems, it's a little vague, isn't it?

Novatech are a good supplier, I can tell you that much.

And again, as ever, what make and model is the motherboard? It makes quite a big difference.

Same goes for memory.

I suggest you phone Novatech, clarify these points, then post back here.

Thanks for the quick reply i've just downloaded the catalogue

Page 5 shows the Nero X2 as coming with a Logitech wireless optical mouse and keyboard actually

The motherboard is as a nVidia nforce4 ultra SLI motherboard??

i'll think i'll phonemy order through to confirm parts exactly so I can get a contact name etc
