notify box

hi, i was wondering if there was a way to have a notify box come up from the
start menu like AIM or MSN does? i saw one for VB7 but it wouldnt work in
VB8, so i was wondering if anyone knew how to do it in VB8? thanks

TaskbarNotifier, a skinnable MSN Messenger-like popup in C# and now in
VB.NET too
