notify a collegue a public folder message has arrived?

once a message has arrived into my inbox with attachments, i move it to the
public folder. how do i notify someone or a contact group that the message is
in the public folder? this would eliminate having to foward the entire
message.

Is there any pattern to the messages in question? If so, why not set up the
PF to receive mail directly & assign the SMTP address(es) you wish to it -
then your colleague can look at the unread message count next to the folder
name in Outlook, and you need do nothing other than do the same for
yourself.
