notification icon

There is a system alert flashing in the notification area of my taskbar.
System has detected a number of spyware applications on my computer. It was
from a program called spydawn. I got rid of the program but the icon keeps
flashing.
I've scanned the computer twice and nothing shows up, so I'm not too worried
about the Alert, but how do I get rid of the warning. Any help will be
appreciated.
