Nothing Plays on Wind. Media Player

Nothing plays on Window Media Player. It won't even open. It just makes that Windows XP error beep sound. I've tried putting in different CD's, or just opening it up to play my playlist, nothing. Just the error sound. I've tried the FAQ and did what it said, but it still doesn't work.

This problem just happened today. It was working fine yesterday. I also ran a virus check on it and there are no virus'.
