Notes section in the daily print view of calendar

I have MS Outlook 2003 with exchange.

When I print a daily view of my calendar I get three
panes: the time slots for the day, the Taskpad, and then
a section called Notes. How do I input data in the Notes
section of the calendar so that it prints out on that
daily printed view?

the notes section is for hand written notes, not outlook notes.
