When your in View | Notes View and click on the text placeholder You should get
the AutoFit Options displayed bottom left of the text place holder. Check to see
that you do not have the Stop fitting text into Placeholder selected.

Perhaps I should clarify...The notes are not entirely
truncated, they are simply missing on some slides and
truncated on others, and intact on yet others. All slides
have no more han a dozen words anyway. What I just
discovered is that it will show the notes I add to slides
added today, but still not show the notes of some of
those added previously. Weird. Any ideas?

Your only going to get what will fit into the Notes Placeholder. Any other text
will be truncated at that point.

I'm new to PPT2002, and in the print notes preview and
View|Notes Page, I can see some, but not all, of the
notes I created with each slide. It seems to be stuck in
a previous revision. The slide shows up fine and this
behavoir occurs on all (3) pc's which I've tried it on.
Any idea how I might get all the notes to show up in
notes print preview? Thanks.
