Notes on the Print Out

When printing out a calendar page on the lower right hand side is a notes
section.
How can anything be printed to it? What gets printed to it?
or is it just a space for using a good old fashioned pen.

Can anyone help me on this?
 
Nothing gets printed there. It's for your handwritten notes.
 
Thanks for the info. Who would have thougth good old fashioned pen and paper
lives on!
