Notes in Task

In simple list in Task I added Notes field. I can add new task, duedate and
subject in simple view but I cannot add anything under Notes title. I have to
open the new window for to add notes and then save and close.

Is there a way to add notes directly in simple list? I am using Outlook 2003.

No. It's not just a simple text field and so cannot be edited in a table view.
