Notepad

My Notepad will not work when I click on it...Any help would be
appreciated...I am new at this...
 
Cut and copy below lines into Start Run

explorer /select,%systemroot%\system32\notpad.exe
and also
explorer /select,%systemroot%\system32\notepad.exe

Does it find both?
