Notepad/Wordpad

Chris

I am using XP Pro. When I open a text file, it opens in Notepad with a line
through the text. If I change it to Wordpad, it looks fine. How can I
change all files to open in Wordpad? Should I even do this, or is there
something I can change in Notepad?

TIA,

Chris

You can make WordPad the default text editor.

Just right click on any file with a .txt extension and
select "open with" and select WordPad and be sure the
"always open with" box is checked.

If Notepad is showing a line through the text, check to see
what font is default, it may be a strike-through font and
you can just change that.

Thanks for the response, but is there anyway to do it for all, instead of
doing it individually?

It will change the association for all txt files.
