Cannot paste rtf from internet explorer into wordpad

Hi

XP SP2

Since couple of days can no more paste selcted text from internet explorer
into Wordpad !!

Can paste as non-formatted text
Can paste into Notepad
Can paste into oWord

Simply no way to paste formatted into Wordpad !!!!

Any clue to solve this ?

Uninstall - Reinstall Wordpad ?
Coudl some service be defaulted ?

What happens when you try to paste "selected text" into Wordpad?

Have done further tests:

- edit->paste : nothing
-edit-> special paste->rtf: nothing
-edit->special paste->unformatted text: ok ( but of course unformatted / no
images etc)
- ctrl-V: sometimes ok / sometimes not

Any idea ?

As stated in message all other progs tested so far can accept that paste
operation with eitehr Ctrl-V or Edit->Paste
