Notepad problem

I use notepad as my main editor, but since Monday , when I
open it it works fine for a few minutes and all the sudden
it shuts down. Sometimes it even happens while typing in
it.

I copy the notepad.exe from onother compure where it is
working but nothing.

Any ideas out there.
