Notepad, new folder problem

Can someone please help me:
My notepad stop working. It always give me notepad.exe is not valid win32
application.
And when i tried to make a new folder (using right click on the mouse and
new-> folder), it takes around 3 minute to appear.

Hi ampoeh,

Click Start, Run and type:

%windir%\notepad.exe

If you get the same error, try running the one present in the System32 folder.

%windir%\system32\notepad.exe

Post back the results.
