Notepad file opens on startup???

Help! I'm having problems with a desktop-notepad item
which comes up every time I start my computer. It
references [.ShellClassInfo] and in the second line
refers to system 32 and shell 32. I can not make it stop
appearing when I start up my computer. What should I
do?
