I somehow got notepad as my html editor. I try to use the dropdown on it,
and there is no other choice. I cannot open some files because it opens in
notepad.
Can someone help me please?
Thank you.

Open My Computer. On the menu bar, select [Tools > Folder Options]. In
the Folder Options window, select the File Types tab. Locate the HTML
file-type and select it. Select the Advanced button.

On the Edit File Type window, select "edit" in the Actions area (not the
Edit button). Then select the Edit button. In the "Editing action for
type: HTML" window, setup whatever editor you want to use. Exit by
selecting the OK buttons.

Repeat the above for HTM files (unless, of course, you don't have any).

Note: Don't try to cut corners by selecting the Change button on the
Folder Options window. That will change what opens the file, which will
stop you from using your current browser.
