Problem with notepad

Hi friends

I have got a peculiar problem with note pad. We used to send large text
files (about 2mb in size) to our client. Rarely do they use to complain about
the format - mainly line breaks which are very crucial for them. Now this
happens more frequently

I doubt this happens because of notepad of windows xp removes the line
breaks while viewing /saving. And there is a funny thing it looks different
in notepad /word pad and sometime in winows98 and windows 2000 notepads.

Will using the DOS Editor instead of notepad will solve the problem

Kindly help me

Regards

Johnny

If you want an opinion from Microsoft, you need to contact them. This is
a public newsgroup hosted on MS servers providing peer-to-peer tech
support for the XP operating system. While some MS employees
occasionally post in these newsgroups, the majority of regular helpers
are volunteers who do not work for the company.

I don't have an answer for your Notepad question.
