Not to sound like Kevin but when will msdn get a new VISTA?

I'm getting tired of waiting for a new vista already. Cumon Microsoft throw
us a bone already. It's already been 3 months since we've had a new build
and I don't even want to try 5308 because people tell me it will basically
destroy my computer. Give me a stable Vista build I can use. Something worth
the money we paid for MSDN.

My company paid over $7000 for my MSDN, and I still don't get newer builds
of Vista via MSDN. Beta builds are a bonus for MSDN subscribers, not a
right. If you want more frequent builds, you should have got yourself on the
tech beta, it wasn't hard to do (even I managed it ;)).

I know it's a pain, but you get so much other stuff with MSDN as well - the
latest Windows Server System stuff, the latest technologies, it's not all
about Vista. Hey, with all the stuff you get such as WinFS (beta 1's already
out, you should have access to it), WinFX etc., you should be able to
develop applications for Vista *without* Vista!

But as Andre said, expect an MSDN build sometime towards or just after
WinHEC - this month )

Would have to disagree with you there. It was very diffucult to get on
the tech beta. Having seen some of the wasters that did get on, it does
make you wonder about Microsoft's selection critera... I was on Srv2003
R2 beta, and submitted loads of bugs, but got missed for the Vista tech
beta :-( The last MSDN release 5308 is so poor, it's virtually unusable
(in particular x64 is worse than x86).

Would be nice if MSDN subscribers got a montly build, kinda best build last
month..

Same here, my Company also paid for my subscription and I am greatful, with
the amount stuff you get in their, you should be greatful. I am not even
excited about the BETA software (well I am in the Tech Beta, so I am not
qualified to say anything ;) But we need to stop taking MSDN as a midas
touch, meaning we should have access to every single piece of MS Software. I
don't get Server 2003 Datacenter in my subscription, and I'm not complainin'
;)

I really don't think getting Beta builds is why you have your MSDN
subscription, is it?

Mark;
"Would be nice if MSDN subscribers got a montly..."
So it seems you are asking for the same builds as the Tech Beta and probably
more if you get them monthly.
Contrary to some of the myths floating around, Windows Vista builds do not
come to the Tech Beta about weekly.

Well perhaps not monthlys, but at the moment, all that's on MSDN is 5308,
and in x64 guise, it in a very poorly state, I am pretty sure newer betas,
whilst not as well tested would still exhibit more stable behaviour..
