not shutting down

wk2

computer will not turn it's self off.

windows closes, message comes up, it's safe to shut down
your computer.

all my other pc's using wk2 power off by them self.

any fix.

w2k has very strict ACPI standards. If your hardware is not new enough it
will not shutdown correctly.

Try updating your system drivers.

might try this Placing the following registry key from a
value of 0(boot) into a value of 4(disabled):


HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\CDR4VS
D
it worked for me
