Not Receiving Fax

I setup my windows xp to receive fax automatiaclly after 1 ring and put it in
a folder on my desktop. I tested it and it works. However, when I shut my
PC and turn it back on, it stops working. The fax line keeps ringing without
receiving any fax.

When this happens, does the Fax Printer Configuration properties sheet
still show that the modem is set to autoanswer?
