Not reading CD-RW & Floppy

Good Evening everyone! I am not the most knowledgable hardware guy arund
so am completely out of ideas. i recently formatted my computer and
installed a fresh copy of XP. After doing so and installing all my drivers
i managed to have all drives working. After aprox a week to two weeks both
my floppy drive and my cd-rw both have stopped working. The really strange
thing is that I am still able to burn CD's on the the CD-RW so it is geting
power and the PC recognizes it.

I have done a full virus scan and nothing. Does anybody have any ideas or
things i could be checking for??

Many thanks in advance!

Yes i did. And for a week or two everything was working then just all
ofa sudden it stopped. I was going to try the OS install again and
possibly another format but i had really hoped for another solution???

Run Nero Info tool

http://www.cdspeed2000.com/files/NeroInfoTool_301.zip

and look in it's ASPI and Configuration Tabs and post the results. Are
the drives seen on bootup at the P.O.S.T screens?

It works on all systems.
