Not printing on 1st page

I tried to put a text box into the Page Header (putting it in the
Report Header has similar results) but it does not display on the
first page. It appears properly on all subsequent pages. I tried
leaving everything the same and changed the Control Source. I found
it works for three of my Control Sources, but not the other three. I
couldn't figure out what they had in common, it wasn't length it
wasn't text vs numbers.

Does the first record displayed in the report contain a Null value
in the field bound to the textbox? Try to display it in the details
section also.
