Not Pasting Correctly

One of my co-workers came to ask for my help with a strange problem. She
selected a series of cells in one workbook, and then went to paste them
(Paste special - values) into another workbook. The problem is that only four
of the six cells pasted the others were blank. I even tried to just do a
normal copy & paste with the same result.

Any help?

Has she done a TEXT to COLUMNS parse lately. Open a "test" doc and enter
something in one of the cells. Then try to parse this cell.
Select the DELIMITED option.
Deselect any Delimiters.

Is the font colour in the *missing*cells white?

Any chance that there were hidden rows in that pasted area--hidden via
data|autofilter or even manually?

If you unhide them, do you see all the pasted data?
