Not Opening

Okay, i went to open up Excel today and this came up:

I use Excel every day, and all the sudden this comes up. I think my brother
changed some settings on the computer (which he always does). And now it will
not open any of my files. And my internet is acting strange too. I use MSN
Explorer, and it will not open any of the links on my favorites! I have a
Dell Demension 8200 with Windows XP Standard. Could he have deleted some key
component? Afew months ago he deleted a Driver & we had to reinstall
everything. It would not supprise me if he did that agian! If anyone can help
please reply!

How do you open Excel?

Desktop Shortcut? From Office Toolbar? From Start>All Programs?

Try Start>Run "excel.exe"(no quotes).

Does Excel start normally with this command?

Perhaps just the shortcut command has been altered.

The MSN Explorer and the missing links does pose a problem that may be better
addressed in a Windows XP news group or similar.
