Windows update says I need KB8229019 and KB928416 concerning NetFramework
2.0 and 3.0.

Both of them always fail to install...Why??
 
Do you have .net framework 1.1 installed? If so uninstall it and reinstall,
that may resolve the issue. Also, I highly doubt you need .net 3.0, and I
moderately doubt you need .net 2.0. Any application that needs it SHOULD put
it on a CD for you.
