Not giving an option of Table with file, edit, view, etc.

Hi,
Has anyone else every had this problem. I wiped my hard drive clean and
then when I went to Microsoft word it no longer gave me the table option.
You know on the top line where it says file, edit, view,isert, format,
tools, windows- Well there is also suppose to be a button for tables. It is
no longer there. I can still make tables using the toolbar but I don't like
doing it this way. It doesn't let me delete rows, cells or columns when I
have it like this. Does anyone know how to do this using the toolbar method.

Have you tried to reset the Standard ToolBar?

Use the MenuBar command View / ToolBars / Customize ... Select the Standard
Toolbar and click the "Reset..." button.

BTW, you posted to the wrong newsgroup. This newsgroup is for Microsoft
Access (a database application). If the above doesn't help, suggest you
re-post to one of the relevant Word newsgroups.
