Unhide Tables, etc.

Hello. I am in need of some help. I was trying to get the startup of my
database to just show a switchboard form so that others accessing the
database aren't confused as to what they need to fill out. Anyway, taking
someone's advice, I used the Tools/Startup menu to make the startup display
be my switchboard form. I was successful in this - unfortunately, I
apparently unchecked something that should have been checked, because now - I
can't see or get into anything beyond the switchboard itself! I no longer
have the "tools" option on my toolbar - nor can I add it by right-clicking
the toolbar that is there. There is also no option to "unhide" the tables
under Window as I had understood there was to be. I appreciate any help.
Hopefully I haven't totally ruined my database as that will really tick me
off - teach me to work on this when I'm tired... :)

Thanks!

Okay - I figured it out! Thank goodness. I read that if you hold down the
Shift key the whole time you are opening the database, it will in turn
override the Startup settings. I had tried this prior to posting the first
time, but it wasn't working - the database has a security login and so I'd
have to stop holding the shift button in order to login - and when I would do
that - it would open as before - everything hidden. So I got to thinking
that perhaps directly after I type in the password - I'd hold down that shift
key again - and sure enough - it worked!
