Not getting IP

Hello,
I recently took Road Runner high speed connection. But
strangely the machine is not able to find an IP. It used
to be fine earlier as I hoocked up the machine to RR
earlier.
I thought of unintalling TCP/IP, but when I click on
TCP/Ip the uninstall button is disabled.
Not sure how to get around the problem.
Can anyone give me a aolution.

If you go to a command prompt and type:

ipconfig /all

What do you see?

What do you see if you type

ipconfig /renew

?

Have you restarted the cable modem?
