not enough memory

I just started using Windows Mail today and haven't used much memory but when
I click on the "create mail" tab to write a new email it gives an error
message saying it cannot open the window because there is not enough memory.

How much RAM memory do you have? Some cheap PCs come with 512 MB,
even though that slows Vista down. It runs better with 2 GB or more.

Also, what if any antivirus programs do you have? Some problems caused by
antivirus programs are incorrectly reported as being due to not having
enough
memory.

We often need to see entire error messages to offer much help, so click on

and try to copy it to your next message.
