not enough memory

V

vladimir

I'm have a dual processor [(2) AMD 1200] with 756 mb 2100
ddr sdram. My problem is when publishing (rendering) a
movie in Flash MX I am getting an error message that say's:
"Error creating flash movie. There was not enough memory
available".
I tried increasing the paiging size as well as the
registry size, but that did not solve the problem. Any
suggestions?

You failed to say what version of Windows you are running. On Win9x
there was an Office program ("Fast Find") that would run almost
continually, building a table of file names in RAM. This allowed quick
access to files. The trouble is, it used up all memory, which caused
slow operation. The cure is to turn off indexing, delete FastFind
(ff..), get rid of it from the Startup folder, etc. Just use a big
enough hammer.
