Not enough memory to complete operations

I have a SBS 2000 server machine acting as a domain controller and an
Exchange email server, ISA firewall, etc.

I'm having problems executing things on the machine as its complaining about
not having enough memory to complete the operations.

For example:-
- Health Monitor has stopped working,
- I can't get the System Information of the PC
- I can't open the Public Folders of Exchange,
- I'm getting several MSExchangeSA Monitoring 9097 & 9095 event ids'
- Trying to run any installation upgrades (ie. IE6) causes a "previous
installation has pending work requiring a reboot" message to be displayed.
On rebooting, I can perform the installation, but i still get

I think all these problems are related to the same problem. (i.e. not enough
memory)

I did have 512MB SDRAM installed in the machine, but have recently upgraded
it to 1GB SDRAM because of these issues. On initially booting the server
after installing the extra memory, the task manager reports that there is
1,048,052 total physical memory, but the available memory and system cache
fluctuates at around only the 100,000 mark.

Is there something i can do to make more memory available or should it
automatically do this (as i would have thought it would!). I would also
imagine that 1GB of RAM is more than enough to get the system info of the
PC!!

Thanks in advance

For a start you should find out which application hogs memory.
It might have a memory leak. Check your Task Manager and
plug the various figures into a pie-chart!

What does task manager say is consuming all the memory? Echange will
grab as much ram as it thinks it needs and will give it back when
other programs need it. On workstations running Spybot Search and
Destroy with the latest definitions clears up memory issues related to
spyware. Does the C: partiton have at least a gig or so free?

Our server has 2 partitions, the C: drive is a 8GB drive with 2GB free disk
space, and the other D: drive is a 66GB drive with 33GB free.

I've taken a couple of screenshots of our Task Manager.
They can be viewed at:-

There are no other Applications running.

Thanks again

Dan.
