Not Administrator? No Auto-Login...?

If your not administrator on the local box Windows Messenger will not let you login to your .net account automatically when you start up your computer, it always asks for a login information - how can I keep it from doing that without making the user administrator?

I am experiencing the same issue -- Windows Messenger remembers my password
and logs me in on one machine where my user account is of Administrator type,
yet does not log me in on another machine where my user account is of Limited
type. I would like Windows Messenger to log me in automatically when I
configure it to do so, regardless of account type.

Searching this newsgroup and reading posts makes me think that this is the
way it's supposed to work, but I haven't found a definitive answer or
explanation.

TIA,

David

- Windows XP Professional SP2 with all updates as of today except for
Windows Journal Viewer (I've seen this interfere with Acrobat, so I avoid it).

- McAfee VirusScan Enterprise 8.0i (with firewall).

The issue is still present. Do Microsoft employees monitor this newsgroup?
Could you please acknowledge this issue and find an answer for us?

TIA,

David
