Not able to uninstall a program

I tried to uninstall a game, simgolf, and it appeared to work, but it is
still in the program list under add/remove programs. When I try to uninstall
it, it asks if I'm sure, I say yes, but nothing happens. When I try to
reinstall it, it starts, but then just stops. Help!

There are a couple ways of doing this. From where you are now you could
delete the directory for the program (probably in Program Files) and then
edit out all reference to it in the registry (a good registry cleaner like
"registry first aid" or "cleanmypc" will get almost all the entries) but you
still might be left with some installation files in windows directory. Or
you could try a utility which will remove partially uninstalled programs and
these can be found here...
