not able to send e-mail in outlook express

When I try to send an e-mail from anywhere, outlook express, yahoo, hotmail
ect..
It says something about bad connection. What does that mean and what do I
need to do to fix it?
 
You should repost to one of the Outlook Express newsgroups, and supply the
exact error message you receive when you do, "something about bad
connection" doesn't help much.
 
Does it happen only when you are trying to send emails?
I mean do you get the same error message whenever you load a page in IE
other than sending emails?
