Not able to open email messages sent as attachments

Suddenly, I am not able to open any mail messages sent to me as an attachment
within mail. But when in safe mode I am able to open the attached messages. I
have office outlook 2007 SP1 with small business contact manager. I tried the
office diagnostic tools. And repair installation. Can anyone HELP.
