Not able to empty the trash.

I'd appreciate some help emptying my trash. Every time I do I get an error that
says:

Cannot delete Dc1469: Data error (cyclic redundancy check).

I can open the trash manually and delete the files but I can't right click on
the icon and choose the option to empty it.

After I delete everything manually and I try to elmpty the trash it asks if I
want to delete a single file called:

bocf.mpg.par2

This file does not exist anywhere on the disk. I've even tried creating a text
file with that name and deleting it. Again I can delete the file manually but
it still thinks it's in there.

Can anybody help?

Thankz.

You must have a macintosh as they have trademarked Trash. A CRC error is a disk error at the hardware level.

Run chkdsk /r for disk errors.

Files are renamed in the recycle bin. The D C part means it was deleted from C drive (all filles start with D).
