When I want to start the setup of GTA: San Andreas (or any other game) I get
this message:
E:\setup.exe is not a valid Win32 application!
Does anybody knows what is the solution of this problem?

Hi Marijan Martinovic,

This article describes how you can troubleshoot CD-ROM or DVD-ROM optical disc read issues. The steps in this article generally
apply to compact disc recordable (CD-R) and compact disc re-writable (CD-RW) drives. Often a drive can read most but not all discs,
but this alone does not indicate that a disc is bad. The drive could be having a marginal problem.

You may encounter various disc read errors when you attempt to setup or start a program, when you switch discs while using programs
with multiple discs, or when a program attempts to read data from another area on the disc. You may receive a variety of errors
indicating problems reading the disc or copying specific files. You may receive messages similar to the following:
<program> is not a valid win32 application.

Go to this website: http://www.visualtour.com/downloads/

Scroll down a bit and download this program: XP_FIX.EXE (140 Kb).

Run it on your machine and your problem should be solved. Here's a description of the program:
_____________________________________
"This installaton program will reinstall the missing or corrupt Windows XP system files command.com, autoexec.nt and config.nt. The absence or corruption of one or more of these files causes a "16 Bit Subsystem" error.

We recommend that you download this file and save it to your desktop or to another location where you can find it. Double click on the file to run it once it's downloaded. If problem reoccurs in the future, simply re-run this program."
