Not a valid bookmark file

Repeatedly trying to export my favorites from office pc with Windows XP to
home pc with Windows XP. Keep getting the message 'not a valid bookmark
file'. Any suggestions?
 
"Not a valid bookmark file" error
Created by saving an emailed favorites export using File-Save

Open the page in Notepad and remove this first line:

<!-- saved from url=(0022)http://internet.e-mail -->

This didn't work. The first line was not <!-- saved from url...> it was the
second line. I deleted it and tried to import. Did not work. Then I deleted
the first line too <!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC ...> still wouldn't import. Any
other suggestions?
 
Perhaps you should start from scratch, do it again, zip the file
before you email it.
